HEllo to all,
First let me thank everybody who offered a prayer up for me. Monday I had my revision...I call it the remix.
I went to the hospital and the game plan was put the band over the pouch. Doc had warned me that scar tissue would prevent that but he would not know until he got in there.
He told me that if he could not do the band that he would tweak the pouch (gist of it) make it a little smaller and the small intestine a little smaller both from the outside with stitches this would cause more satiety or a smaller pouch.
Well he got in there and saw my pouch was too small for the band to go over, said he did not want to chance it slipping, so he tweaked it and found I need a 3rd repair to a hernia. So that is what happened. Of course we had the old talk. about this is a tool and not a magic formula that I had got to get my butt moving more than I have...we both agreed that I will walk more and stay in the pool until I have lost enough to stay out of pain.
I am happy with what was done. I have miminal pain coming from the hernia repair and i finally got one of those JP drains, never had them before. I am sipping and walking. Home yesterday.
All I can say is GOD is good and the journey continues positively.
